Our LSR II analytical flow cytometer (Becton Dickinson) is configured with 4 lasers at wavelengths to detect blue (488nm), red (628nm), green (532nm), and violet (405nm) emissions. Combined with the optical filters on the machine, we are able to detect 17 colors simultaneously, in addition to forward and side scatter, for a total of 19 parameters, providing our researchers with significant freedom with regards to experimental design. Sampling can be by individual tube, or with the High Throughput Sampler (HTS) feature that supports 96- or 394-well plate formats.

- Cellular kinetics and physiological cellular responses
- Cell cycle analyses (DNA, RNA content)
