Protocols involving isolation and analysis of mucosal lymphocytes from nonhuman primate (NHP) are complex,
demanding and costly. This significant disincentives investigators in their efforts to study the effects of vaccines or therapies
on mucosal responses or to employ NHP models in their research. To address this need, we have establish the first nonhuman
primate specimen repository consisting of lymphocytes expertly isolated from various mucosal and systemic compartments
in uninfected and infected NHPs at various stages of disease.
